The Little Mermaid Movie Review
The casting was really perfect. Halle is truly my Ariel. She was able to convey so much emotion with her face and body language that you knew exactly what she was feeling even without words. And I can’t praise Melissa McCarthy enough. She really gave it her all.
I can honestly say that her “Poor Unfortunate Souls” was probably the best song in the movie. It was so sensual and slowly built up energy, and once the energy was there, it was really a highlight. After years of waiting and countless leaks, I can honestly say that this film exceeded my expectations and is definitely worth checking out in theaters.
