Johaar Movie Story
Johaar is an anthology film that revolves around five different stories.
Ganga, a widowed woman saving for her daughter’s surgery. Bala is a street performer but an excellent athlete.
Jyoti, a student who elopes with tea boy Sidhu because her mother is a prostitute.
Bose, a man who runs an orphanage and waits for funds from the government. And the Prime Minister’s son who dreams of becoming the Prime Minister after his father’s death and making his father’s statue the largest in the world. So he cuts off all the funds to build a statue for his widowed mother whose crops were damaged by rain, and there is no money for his daughter’s surgery, no scholarship for the girl, and no loan for the tea boy who wants to start a business. They are unable to raise funds for the athletes or for the hostel, and ultimately their lives are ruined.
The journalist who told the Prime Minister the whole story claims that he is responsible for all the deaths, and in the climax, the Prime Minister opens the statue and admits his guilt.
Johaar Movie Review
Credit to director Teja Marni for creating a realistic story and delivering a meaningful film. The film will be successful if it only changes the perception of the individual politicians.
The daughter of a sex worker wants to study well and not be like her mother who loves her and helps her in life. A girl who earns a living by performing in the circus and has a passion for running. An old man who has served his country and upheld its principles wants to expand his orphanage. A woman who has lost her husband and is about to lose her daughter because she drank poison that the industry put into her water.
