Set in Mudumalai National Park on the border of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, India, The Elephant Whisperer tells the story of a local couple, Bomman and Berry, who are entrusted with an orphaned Indian elephant boy, Raghu.
They make every effort to help the injured and fragile baby survive and grow into a healthy boy. A strong bond develops between the couple and the elephant. They adopt another elephant named Amukti, but are ultimately forced to give up Raghu.

The documentary “The Elephant Whisperers” is truly beautiful. I found this documentary heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. It is such an amazing and honorable experience to witness how the Elephant Whisperers give love and care to baby elephants and how they live in the wild forest.
I wonder how we can make machines, AI and money hungry humans understand that loving our children, be they animal or human babies, treating their environment with the utmost respect and respecting their sustenance is all we really have. What we must do: have reverence for life and treat nature as the gift of God that it is!! I will watch this again and again, it’s so beautiful .
